| As Chief Operating Officer of the Alameda Power & Telecom deployment: The Notice to Proceed (NTP) was received on December 4, 2000. In anticipation of the NTP we started planning in September 2000. The head-end building was finished, the head-end was built, the outside plant installed, the billing system implemented, the marketing plans implemented, channel content contracted, and customer service organizations hired and trained for a Juy 4, 2001 service launch of CATV (we "launched" with a Beta test). Internet Access services were delayed due to PacBell strategic incompetence and were launched in early 2002. As of April 2002: 40 nodes (approx. 50% of the outside plant) up and running, 3400 CATV customers (up to 35% market share in earliest nodes), 800 Internet Access customers. Year 1 expected customer accounts were exceeded within 8 months. My involvement concluded in November 2001 when the going concern was considered to be self-sufficient; my goal was service initiation and revenue generation. The team was located in California, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and New York. References available on request.
